Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier who was a nurse and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American actor and singer. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young age. When she was in 1992, she went to her very first audition. She got an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent prior to her turning 13 and she got her first role in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. She also started taking acting lessons in private at that time. Bell played an uncredited character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she took home the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student at The Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell dropped out of her studies in 2001 and began playing Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. The same year, she had her first credit debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. Bell made an appearance with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
