Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who made her name with clever raps that tackled sexuality and racial identities with an edgy, comical perspective. She then expanded to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living from Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was through the instrument of trumpet. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. While at school, she studied journalism as well as women's studies, and was learning Mandarin in Beijing during a brief time. After graduation, her focus shift to music. Her 2012 track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success across the Internet eventually landing on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. It also included viral hits, such as body-positive Queef & winking home tour NYC BitcheUSD. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in the year 2015, and was another project. Her resume contained both an the musician and author. Now she was looking to expand her career into acting. In addition to early series, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in movies Neighbors 2 Storks & Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a number of notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8 or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP debuted in June.
